After a 34-year career as a classroom teacher, Mitzi retired in 2022. Since then she has used her skills to assist artists, create online content, show her artwork in galleries, and help nonprofits that use the arts, education, and faith practices to create community. She spends a lot of time with her five grandchildren, and enjoys walking and biking around San Antonio while taking lots and lots of photographs.
