VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP Youth Summit FAQ When and where will this summit be taking place? This is a 2-day youth summit that will take place on July 11th and 12th in San Antonio, Texas at SAY Sí. Our address is 1310 South Brazos Street. Who can attend this summit? Day 1 is open to general audiences. Day 2 is reserved for young artists, filmmakers and performers, cultural clubs, youth organizations, art classes and clubs, teen council members and more, ages 13-18 and their accompanying adult(s). I am an adult bringing my student/child to the summit, do I need to stay with them the whole time? Students may be dropped off and accompanying adults do not need to stay at SAY Sí. SAY Sí is committed to ensuring a safe and youth-friendly environment, but SAY Sí is not responsible for monitoring students who choose to leave the campus. If you are dropping off your student, please talk to them in advance about expectations for staying on campus. Are there any costs associated with the summit? This summit is completely free to attend! We understand that travel and lodging costs can add up, so we’re committed to making this event accessible to as many people as possible.There will be opportunities to make purchases at our SAY Sí store and partner sites. Will meals be provided? On Day 2, a light breakfast and full lunch will be provided for registered attendees. Lunch will be provided by the amazing people at Mi Tierra Restaurants. Will there be parking? SAY Sí has dedicated off-street parking with space for vans or buses for anyone traveling in a group. Do I need to stay for the entire program? No. We have an exciting day full of engaging creative workshops, but we understand that you may only be able to attend part of it. We’re happy to have you here with us!
