HIVE New Media Studio Assistant Emmanuelle Taylor Maher is a Queer artist and First-Generation American based in San Antonio, Texas. Between coding, drawing silly comics, and posting internal monologues online—Emmanuelle is always trying to find new ways to engage creatively with others. Their works exist at the intersections of Activism and Introspection surrounding Identity, navigating Mental Illness and often explores ideas of Consequence and Trauma recovery. As a huge proponent of Radical Tenderness, Emmanuelle applies these tenets when interacting with youths—both inside and outside of SAY Sí. Ultimately: It’s Tenderness that governs their art and actions.
