News from the Media Arts Studio

Hello SAY Sí Family,

As some of you may know my name is Sergio Ramos. I am a SAY Sí alumnus class of 2011 and a recent graduate from Watkins College of Art, Design and Film. Since my graduation I have had the great opportunity of returning back to our second home as a Media Arts Instructor. The experience of being able to work with students has been amazing on so many levels.

The program has grown in many ways from the last time you might remember. The most recent and exciting of them awarded the Adobe Creative Catalyst Award as part of Adobe’s Project 1324. In conjunction with this award our students and alumni are eligible to take advantage of their new platform called Project 1324.

Project 1324 is a new website and program that allows artists, ages 13-24, to participate in art challenges that will be showcased on a worldwide level. If this interests you visit withmalala.org. You can start uploading work for the #withMalala challenge. There will be many more “challenges” and projects to participate and work on so please take advantage of as many opportunities that come forward in the next couple of months. If you have any questions regarding this opportunity please feel free to contact me or any of our instructors.

With best regards,

Sergio Ramos
